Go Royals!!!

Thanks to the wonderful world of technology I have been able to reconnect with old friends. As many of you know I played basketball for many years. I happened to run into Coach Powell on facebook and low and behold he had pictures from his coaching days. Powell retired from coaching two years after I graduated. This picture is from my junior year in high school. 8 of the 10 girls were from the Class of '99. Since the invention of blogging and social networks I have been able to reconnect with many of these ladies and even my former coach. I have many wonderful memories with this group: our many car trips to tournaments, trips to San Diego and Las Vegas, summer league, friendships...
Here is an update of what some of these girls have been up to since we graduated:
Alissa is currently serving in the Marines.
Emma is living in New York and just got engaged.
Noelani is still with her high school sweet heart and just had their first baby in June.
Tiffany is married with three little boys.
Missy is married with two children. She was coaching high school basketball up on the East side a few years ago and I had the pleasure of watching her coach against the KM team.
Katie is living in Idaho, married with three children.

Bads...

I love this post! How did your connect with Powell? I can't believe he has a facebook. Haha..
Those were such good times, it was such a HUGE part of our lives. Believe it or not I still have dreams about playing and more times than not in my dreams Powell puts me in to play and can't do anything. Everything I do is in slow motion. =) Funny Funny... So fun to hear what everyone is up too. I would love to have a little reunion with us all. I hope we all get to see each other for the 10 year..
