We really should...

be better at updating this blog...but who wants to sit down at the computer at night? Not us! Work is busy for the both of us...the first day of school is on Wednesday for Head Start and Cam is busy prepping things before winter sets in.

Graciana is doing great...9 months old already! She is crawling like crazy, loves smiling and her laugh makes us laugh which makes her laugh even harder. Everyone told us how fast it goes by but you don't really believe it until you look back and realize where did the time go?

We are busy preparing for her 1st birthday party. It's a little bit different planning a party from 2,000 miles away but we are having fun and we are getting excited to see our family and friends down in Washington.

Are next trips planned are Fairbanks in October, Seattle in November and December...Of course we will be visiting many villages before Thanksgiving and we hope that Cam can come with us to a couple of them. We are also looking forward to G-Pa's visit in October!

We had Graciana's pictures taken recently and we are SO happy with how they turned out. Our friend Katie is just starting and we enjoyed having her photograph us. We had two different sessions - at 6 months (which happened to fall on Mother's Day) and then at 8 months (so we could take some outdoor pics). Here are just a few from the sessions...enjoy!

Summer Time

We finally were able to upload pictures! Here are a few from last weekend. The weather was perfect - sun was shining and the berries were ready! Blue, Blue Sky

it's been over a month since our last post...not that we didn't want to post...we tried but we have been having problems uploading pictures...then another blogger friend put on their blog that they were having problems posting pictures...it might be a rural alaska thing...we are in anchorage so maybe we will try posting pictures...we really want to post pcitures for our family and friends that are not on facebook...graciana is getting bigger by the day...continuing to amaze us...we still have to post about our trip to phoenix...and homer...and elim...berry picking...first jet ski ride...OH yeah she's talking now...saying mama...and baby...even pointing at her pictures, saying baby...she has teeth but do you know how hard it is to take a picture of those cute little teeth...she's been going to a babysitter this summer...she started crawling but only backwards...she likes peas and BREAD but hates edamame...LOVES steak grilled by her dad...so i guess that if we can't post pictures we will just have to start writing more about our adventures...you'll just have to visualize it yourself...we hope that you are all enjoying your summer...that could be the other reason for not posting but we'll blame it out the blog host :)
