We made our way to Anchorage for the Labor Day weekend to enjoy some time out of Nome.
We enjoyed the Alaska State Fair.

With Pauline and Lola

A very large pumpkin!

1st getting her face painted.

We got to see our friends the Tomters.

Going on her first ride with Poppa!

LOVED the super slide :)

Great day at the Fair.  Thankgoodness for no rain and just a little wind.

Finding the Musk Ox's at the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center (just outside of Girdwood and highly recommended if you have kids).

Finding the Bison with Lola.

Went to Portage where it was rainy and windy but we saw a nice chunk of the glacier that has broken off.

Hello Sun!

The sun finally came out in Nome this summer and we finally got some pictures taken.  Our friend Katie is a local photographer in Nome and she captured some great pictures out at our friends Larry and Amy's camp.

and we're BACK!

So we haven't updated the blog since...April! Wow...I guess we started summer vacation a little early. The weather wasn't great in Nome (at all) and but our motto was rain or shine. We took a few four wheel rides and was really lazy for the month of July. Graciana is growing and maturing into a little lady. She is no longer our little baby but she still enjoys snuggling her parents (which makes us very happy). We hope you all had a wonderful summer...hopefully we will be better about updating the blog :) Cheers to a great fall!
