Fiji - Part 2

We enjoyed many activities while in Fiji. Here are just a few things that we were able to enjoy! Torchlighting Ceremony -
Every evening we enjoyed drumming and the resort torches getting lit.
Enjoying the Frog Races!
Attending a Kava ceremony at the resort.
There are 333 islands and over 300 villages and over 300 different dialects. We were fortunante enough to visit one of the local villages that creates home made pottery. They collect the clay from the river and the glaze is collected from one of the trees. While were were there one of the ladies made a pot by hand in less than 5 minutes.

Enjoying fresh coconut milk after the coconut demonstration at the resort.

Looks like a great trip.

How is the cost of living in Fiji, is it reasonably priced to get around, eat, etc?

You can get around rather cheaply there. We went shopping at the local markets and did a lot of cooking. Once you get away from the resort areas things are very cheap. The bus rides are equivallant to $.75.
