Gym Time...

Spring is flying by here in Nome...Cam had training in Anchorage a couple of weeks ago and I flew down for the weekend to meet up with him. We finished up buy things for the house and are now slowly getting the house feeling like it's "home".

I received an email today about the Kent Meridian High School Gym being remodeled this summer. Boy did it bring back a flood of memories from my childhood and even my early adult years...I remember going to KM Basketball Camp in the 6th grade, I remember going and watching the varsity basketball games when Benishe Dillard and Kristen Deal were the stars and they went on to win State that year, playing in the junior high band for the Martin Luther King Jr. Assembly at the high school, running stairs, pep assembly's, indoor softball practices, running out onto the floor right before games, dance assembly's, watching my brother wrestle all 3 years in high school...these are just a few that come to mine. All of them good and hold a very special place in my heart.
