A Week of Firsts...

We have had an exciting week in the Besett-Kristenson household!

• We had our first cooked dinner in our NEW house! We enjoyed a cornbeef and cabbage dinner with Malinda's parents on St. Patrick's Day.
• We spent the first night at the new house on the 18th! and we got to take our first showers at the new house as well.
• Our friend, Iditarod Musher Aaron Burmeister finished in the top 10 this year for the first time. The first night of sleeping at the new house, Malinda made Cam get up at 4am to go and cheer Aaron on.
• Malinda's parents Janet and Dennis experienced their 1st Iditarod.
• We had our first dinner get together at the new house with lots of good company. Our friends: Larry & Amy, Jay & Michelle, Aaron & Mandy, Shane & Jenny, Noah and a housefull of kids all helped us celebrate. Thank you to Malinda's parents for helping with all of the cooking.

We are slowly moving into the new house...Malinda jokingly said she was going to move in by grocery bags and so far that is how we have been moving in. We find out that we are missing something, we grab all the grocery bags, drive over to the old house and fill the bags to bring back over. There is still lots of work to be done still but it is coming together. We will post pictures soon...
