Family Vacation

So we just returned from our first BIG vacation since our honeymoon. Over a year and a half ago my parents wanted to go on a family vacation, orginally planned for Spain. Cam and I decided on New Zealand and Fiji. At first we were kind of concerned. Cam kept saying that this would be a test. A test of if he could handle me with my parents for two weeks. If I passed the test we would be able to go on more "family" vacations. So we ended up spending 7 days in NZ and 7 days in Fiji. We will just mention a few of our highlights.

I think that one of the biggest highlights of our time in Fiji was the surprise we received. When we honeymooned in Australia 3 years ago we met a great couple John and Lynn on our first day. We have stayed in touch over the years and told them we were going to Fiji. It is an easy meeting spot without us going all the way to Australia. They emailed us and told us that they weren't going to be able to make it. Well as Cam and I were leaving the resturant one night I let out the biggest scream because there they were. It was so good to see them again. We had a wonderful time catching up. I am sure that we will meet up in Fiji again!

We would just like to thank my parents for a wonderful time and are so happy that we were able to share in a vacation with them. It was definetly a vacation that all four of us needed and that we all enjoyed!! I think that I passed the test. Cam is already talking about our next trip. Not sure where that will be but we are thinking that Fiji is sounding good again. Anyone what to go?
